INGREDIENTS
1 package of pre-made pie crust (or homemade if preferred)
1 cup jam (any flavor)
Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C)
- Prepare the Tarts
- Roll out the pie crust on a lightly floured surface to about 1/8 inch thickness.
- Use a round cookie cutter or a glass to cut out circles of dough, about 3 inches in diameter.
- Gently press each dough circle into the cups of a mini tart pan or muffin tin, forming small tart shells.
- Spoon about 1-2 teaspoons of jam into each tart shell. Be careful not to overfill, as the jam can bubble over during baking.
3. Bake the Tarts
- Place the tart pan in the preheated oven.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the jam is bubbly.
Remove the tarts from the oven and let them cool in the pan for a few minutes. Then, transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely. Once the tarts are completely cool, you can dust them with powdered sugar for a decorative touch.
