Peach Jam Glazed Ham

This Peach Jam Glazed Ham is sure to impress your guests with its sweet and tangy flavor and beautifully caramelized crust.

Ingredients

  • 1 fully cooked bone-in ham (7-9 pounds)

  • 1 cup peach jam

  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • Whole cloves (optional, for garnish)

  • Fresh peach slices (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C)

  2. Prepare the Glaze

    • In a small saucepan, combine the peach jam, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, ground ginger, and ground cinnamon.

    • Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the jam is melted and the ingredients are well combined. Set aside.

  3. Prepare the Ham

    • Place the ham on a cutting board and score the surface in a diamond pattern with a sharp knife.

    • If desired, insert whole cloves into the intersections of the diamond pattern for added flavor and decoration.

    • Place the scored ham in a roasting pan, cut side down.

    • Brush the peach jam glaze generously over the entire surface of the ham, ensuring it is evenly coated.

    • Cover the roasting pan with aluminum foil and transfer it to the preheated oven.

    • Bake the ham for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or until heated through, basting with the glaze every 30 minutes.

    • Remove the foil during the last 20-30 minutes of baking to allow the glaze to caramelize and form a golden crust on the ham.

Once the ham is heated through and the glaze is caramelized, remove it from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing. Garnish the sliced ham with fresh peach slices, if desired, and serve warm.
