Jam Tarts

These Jam Tarts are simple to make and perfect for a sweet snack or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of pre-made pie crust (or homemade if preferred)

  • 1 cup jam (any flavor)

  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C)

  2. Prepare the Tarts

    • Roll out the pie crust on a lightly floured surface to about 1/8 inch thickness.

    • Use a round cookie cutter or a glass to cut out circles of dough, about 3 inches in diameter.

    • Gently press each dough circle into the cups of a mini tart pan or muffin tin, forming small tart shells.

    • Spoon about 1-2 teaspoons of jam into each tart shell. Be careful not to overfill, as the jam can bubble over during baking.

  3. Bake the Tarts

    • Place the tart pan in the preheated oven.

    • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the jam is bubbly.

Remove the tarts from the oven and let them cool in the pan for a few minutes. Then, transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely. Once the tarts are completely cool, you can dust them with powdered sugar for a decorative touch.
